BARx Kids and Teens

CrossFit Kids is a strength and conditioning program that is specifically designed for kids and teenagers to help them develop a lifelong love of fitness. In a group setting, children and teens participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well- rounded athletes.  CrossFit Kids workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive and general and scaleable for any participant at any level.

At BARx we believe that CrossFit makes people better. CrossFit Kids makes better people. It is important that all kids understand that Fitness is Fun!

  

Kids (K-4th grade) 

CrossFit Kids Classes set to resume in Winter 2023! The Kids classes will introduce a greater variety of functional movements. Instruction and practice will be interspersed with fun activities including climbing, tumbling, gymnastics skills and games.  Email info@barxcrossfit.com for information on classes.

 

Teens (5th-12th grade)

Through the CrossFit methodology of constantly varied functional movement, this program will teach your teenager how to be explosive and powerful in whatever athletic endeavor they choose to participate in. The skills addressed expand to include the majority of CrossFit's foundational and auxiliary movements. On top of that, because the workouts are constantly varied, they are less likely to fall prey to the overuse injuries that plague common training routines and year-round sports.
